Community & Career Exploration & Apprenticeship Program (CCEAP)

For middle and high school age youth

Youth-stepping out into the adult world in a new way,
exploring their personal interests and passions

  • Visiting workplaces of interest.
Learning Web exploration visits and job shadowing provide youth with a "taste" of a broad range of careers, hobbies, and interests.

  • Working with an expert adult mentor, experiencing hands-on learning. Learning Web apprenticeships provide young people with an in-depth view into an interest area, providing them with the spark for life-long learning.

  • Identifying community needs and carrying out projects that meet those needs. Learning Web community service programs helps youth build leadership skills while they help to improve our community.

Team Players
50,000 hours-the time that Learning Web community service group members have given to improving our community since the service was added in 1992-the time it takes to play 33,333 major league soccer games.
