From the fifth grader who wants to become a paleontologist to the ninth grader who hates school but loves music, to the twelfth grader whose journalistic endeavors have educated our community about human rights issues in Mexico.  Young people who feel they don’t fit in, young people who excel at academics, young people who have too much time on their hands, young people who have gifts they want to share, young people who are anxious to build their resumes or college applications — all of these youth have a place in our program.  The Community & Career Exploration & Apprenticeship Program [CCEAP ] provides a vehicle for a diverse group of young people to explore their interests, gain new skills, and contribute to our community on a volunteer basis.  From small engine repair to sailing, electrical engineering to equine research, retail sales to restaurant management, law enforcement to legal assisting and website design to robotic design, young people step into the adult world.

Young people facing challenges in their lives may be eligible for paid apprenticeships and participation in small group activities designed to support them in their apprenticeship experience.
