Supported Employment Services are open to any young person who is participating in our Youth Outreach Program.  Having a good job is key to being able to support yourself and maintain safe stable housing. Finishing high school and gaining more education can lead to better job opportunities.  For those Youth Outreach participants who have never had a job, are having trouble finding a job, or have had several jobs that don’t seem to last, our Supported Employment Services help youth become fully prepared so that they can find and keep that new job.

We connect youth to employers who are hiring. We provide resume development, application assistance, job search support and interview preparation. The Supported Employment Job Coach develops job opportunities that match young people’s skills and interests.  If participants need help planning for transportation and childcare that will allow them to work, our Job Coach can help. Attention is given to educational planning and long term vocational goal setting. Once hired, young people receive continued coaching and support to help maintain their job and begin a career path.
