Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I visit any place I want?
We try our best to set up visits with people working in the area that interests you. If our town has someone in the field, we will ask them if they would meet with you. Here is a listing of exploration areas that apprentices have explored in the past. You are not limited to this list. We encourage you to choose an interest that you especially want to explore. 2. Do I go alone?
No, your Learning Web Coordinator will join you on the tour. Usually, the Coordinator will provide transportation to and from the tour site.

3. When do the tours happen?
Usually, Monday through Friday after school or on school vacations. Sometimes it may take place on a weekend.

4. What if my parent/caregiver or I have questions about my Learning Web tours?
We encourage you and your parents to contact your Learning Web Coordinator with any questions or issues you have. This is your experience and we want to make it fun, interesting, and safe. When you first meet with your Coordinators, s/he will give you their contact information or you can always call our office at 607-275-0122 or email us if you have questions.

5. How do I sign up?
Just call us at 607-275-0122 or email us.   A LW Coordinator will contact you to set up a time to meet and talk about what you are interested in checking out.
